This is their usual venue, and they once again drew perhaps 400-500. This show aired exist on both IWTV and free on IWTV. Lighting and sound are fine. Troy Nelson and Johnny Torres provided commentary. Sam Leterna also is doing interviews; she was in Chicago 24 hours ago.
* Conan Lycan is sick; he missed the Chicago Style Wrestling show last nighttime, too, so he’s off the show.
1. Aaron Rourke vs. Blake Christian. WWE ID prospect Rourke got a gentle pop and he came out first. Blake does NOT have a GCW match lined up for Sunday but I assume he will play a role; right on cue, the commentators talked about the GCW show. They glared at each other and grant the crowd chant at them and eventually locked up at 1:00. They traded armdrags and had a standoff. Aar

8 Great is our new, extremely unique listicle series where we take a break from snark and negativity to focus on the positive and list eight of our favorite examples of something great from pro wrestling. Matches, performers, shows — whatever is helping us enjoy wrestling in a particular week, that’s what this feature is all about.
This week, I’m celebrating Self-acceptance Month by spotlighting eight proud LGBTQ wrestlers. For those of us in the queer group who enjoy wrestling, it can be disheartening sometimes how few people favor us seem to be in the business, especially when you’re focused on the mainstream product. If you actually pay attention though, wrestling seems to be getting gayer every day, as more and more performers come out, and more fresh performers who’ve never been closeted to begin with participate the business.
A scant caveats and honorable mentions: WWE Legend Pat Patterson is obviously hugely crucial to history as a gay wrestler from an era where that was basically unthinkable, but I want to keep this fleeting list focused on current wrestlers whose careers you can follow right now.
