Wanda Gay (Fowler) Rozier



Wanda Male lover Fowler Rozier, 69, of Chadbourn, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Wanda was born on May 16, 1954, daughter of the late Thomas Fowler and Jeanette Richardson Fowler. &She is also preceded in death by her son, Karl Jeff Wright; siblings, Laurita Moore and Anthony Thomas Fowler.

Visitation will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Worthington Funeral Home.

The surviving family includes her husband, Maurice D. Rozier of the home; daughter, Wendy W. Ingersoll (Lucas) of North Myrtle Beach; siblings, Melissa Garrell of Chadbourn, Tammie Williams (Ted) of Salemburg; grandchildren, Kayla Blankenship, Kinley Barnes, Isabella Ingersoll, Johnnie-Claire Wright, Josie Wright, Kylie Wright; great-grandchildren, Camden Tedder, Kersey Blankenship, and Dawson Blankenship.

Wanda Gay (Price) Maguire

Wanda G. Price Maguire, 07/04/1935 - 12/24/2022, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, and companion suffered a substantial stroke in initial October. She passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve at the home she shared with her daughter.

Wanda is survived by her five children, Doug (Cheryl), Dana, Mike (Beth), Curt (Dana), and Eric (Evelyn). Her three brothers, Tom, John (Nancy) and Mark (Debbie), 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, her best friend Blossom Jeter and countless friends.

Wanda was an exceptional girl, full of animation and energy, possessing a razor-sharp wit and boundless intelligence. She was a trailblazer in the mortgage industry for many women.

Wanda worked diligently until she was 80 years old, often sitting up past midnight with two pc monitors in front of her, approving million-dollar loans.

Wanda spent 20 years as a military wife traveling the globe, packing, and unpacking on a dime. Her cherish for her children, friends, family and dogs, was bottomless. She adored song, gardening, and journey. Our Mother was the epitome of a life successfully lived and adequately loved. She will be missed eternally by all

Wanda Gay Friend, 76, passed away January 6, 2021. Wanda was the only child of Vernon Seaton and Augusta (Shivers) Seaton, born February 10, 1944. Wanda was a graduate of Prague Tall School. She married Linzy “Pete” Friend on August 25, 1967 and they were devoted husband and wife for almost 50 years before his passing in May of 2017. Wanda changed from the “average” Christian to a power house for God when she received her healing from Multiple Sclerosis. Wanda had a adore of people and long for to reach the missing and hurting. She began a ministry of passion. Wanda is the founder of Touch Ministries, an outreach dedicated to practice ministers and reaching those who might never darken a church door. She did mission trips in Haiti, Mexico and Alaska. Ministered in nursing homes, homes for the mentally ill or challenged, and provided a free summer camp so that road kids could experience the unconditional love of Jesus. Wanda served as a children’s minister, clown, puppeteer, and in prison ministry. Through her ministry bodies have been healed, broken lives have been repaired and Christians seeking God’s direction found a nurturing place. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Pete

Gay Wanda Phillips

 

Funeral services for Gay Wanda Phillips 72, formerly of Brownville will be held on Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, at 11:00 am in the Brookside Cemetery in Watertown, NY. 

Mrs. Phillips died on Thursday morning, August 8, 2024, at the Colonial Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Rome, NY. 

Gay was born on July 11, 1952, at the Mercy Hospital in Watertown, NY to the late Harry Jefferson & Doris Mary (Tugman) Stitt. She married Gerald Phillips on March 28, 1978, Mr. Phillips passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2015. 

Gay was primarily a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, shopping, and doing crafts. She is survived by her son, Aaron Stitt. Her siblings, Terry Stitt, and Kenneth Stitt.

She is predeceased by her husband and her brother David Stitt. 

Donations in her memory can be made to the Activities center at the Colonial Park Nursing Home.
