So essentially, I was watching a interview with Melissa and Chyler, and Melissa brought up Pink Kryptonite after someone had mentioned it to her.
It was actually pretty hilarious so I'll drop the video here for you guys to check out yourselves.
Pink Kryptonite Is Brought Up
Superman: What Does Pink Kryptonite Do & Which Comic Is It In?
Superman has gone up against many different types of foes, but what about pink Kryptonite? What does the pink shade of the rock do the Guy of Steel. Does it also weaken him, or does it make him even stronger? Here’s all you want to know about pink Kryptonite and its effect on Kryptonians.
What does pink Kryptonite undertake to Superman?
Pink Kryptonite alters the sexual orientation of Superman and all other Kryptonians.
While it doesn’t affect the energy of Kryptonians, it changes their orientation. In the case of Superman, it turns him queer .
Since pink Kryptonite has only appeared briefly in the source material, its effects on an already gay/bi Kryptonian are unknown. But because it changes sexual orientation, we could presume that a gay Kryptonian might be rendered straight with it.
In the “True Colors” animated short from the Justice League Action animated series, the effects of Pink Kryptonite were revealed to be very different. Instead of changing the sexual orientation, it changed the sex of Kryptonians itself. Male Kryptonians became female under its effects, and vice versa.
Which Superman comic
Ugh I absolutely Dislike the different colors of Kryptonite.
For those who don’t understand, Pink Kryptonite apparently has the impact of causing Kryptonians to be attracted to the matching gender. But for some reason it also apparently makes the victim proceed like the stereotype of the effete gay man, which just makes me so mad, because there’s no fricking reason that Clark would act any different because of his attraction. Not to mention it’s kinda also bi/pan erasure because what happens to Kryptonians who are attracted to more than one gender? And what happens to gay Kryptonians? Are they suddenly hetero? Are they immune? Are ace Kryptonians immune?
Now, thankfully the concept was a one-panel joke in one Supergirl comic and meant as satire, but still it’s a fucked-up “joke” that makes me really angry, but at least it doesn’t really exist in Superman canon.
In the universe in which it does be, Superdad doesn’t live because in that universe, Superman marries an unrelated Supergirl and it’s just weird and ugh and I’m done thinking about it.
Pink Kryptonite is a fictional element that was first introduced in the world of comics as a way to subvert the traditional influence dynamics of the Superman universe. Unlike traditional Kryptonite, which weakens and harms Kryptonians, Pink Kryptonite has the power to modify their sexual orientation and turn them gay. Today in this article we will see, What does pink Kryptonite do to Superman?
In the world of comics, this element was first introduced as a joke, a way to poke fun at the seemingly invulnerable and morally upright character of Superman. However, as the years have passed, Pink Kryptonite has taken on a life of its control , becoming a tool for writers and artists to explore the complexities of sexuality and identity.
The principle of pink Kryptonite was introduced in 2003 in “Supergirl Vol.4 #79.” This element was a humorous and controversial addition to the story that changed the behavior of the iconic superhero, Superman. Upon exposure to pink Kryptonite, Superman’s mannerisms and dialogue towards Jimmy Olson took on a more affectionate tone, complimenting his clothing and admiring his appearance. This transf
Every Type Of Kryptonite In DC Comics
Summary

Red Kryptonite causes mood swings and occasional mutations in Kryptonians - first appeared after lush variety.
Gold Kryptonite can permanently remove Kryptonian powers but was changed post-crisis to temporary effects.
Superman doesn’t have a lot of weaknesses in DC Comics, but the major one, which has become known through all of pop culture as a term for someone’s major weakness, is Kryptonite. This material, which is leftovers from Superman’s place world of Krypton, weakens him greatly, and some other properties from their travel across the space and synthetic interference include created multiple variants of the green rock.
