Anti gay group called one million moms

One Million Moms (1MM), a hate organization of Christian moms around the U.S., has been foremost campaigns to receive rid of television shows with “adult content” for children. Their famous slogan, “Mom, are you fed up with the trash in today’s media? Get action now,” encourages the public to join their collective to put a stop to “adult content” in television shows.

Looking at the website and reading a few campaigns, one might enter to the final word that this is a satirical website. 1MM is in fact supported by the American Family Association, a non-profit organization that encourages other organizations to spread Christian standards to future generations. Other organizations comprise One Million Dads, American Family Radio, and Urban Family.

The main goal of 1MM is to spread their beliefs and beliefs of what the media should portray to children. The difficulty with this philosophy is children with same-sex parents may internalize the concept that they are not accepted in society, even on a fictional TV show. The “adult content” featured in showsincludes representation of the LGBTQ+ group. Disney Channel’s modern original series Andi Mack has fallen victim to 1MM. In season two, character

One Million Moms

One Million Moms is a small lobbying group for social conservatism, created by—and a front group for—the American Family Association.[1]

Its mission is to oppose the "immorality, hostility, vulgarity and profanity" of modern media,[2] generally by attempting to stir general outcry. Specifically, they possess opposed television shows such as Glee,The Playboy Club, Skins, and GCB (originally Good Christian Bitches) - citing these shows' normalization of homosexuality or a perceived anti-Christian bias[3] - and have advocated on behalf of numerous other causes, such as opposite the addition of openly gay characters to Marvel and DC comic books.

Even if they were one million strong, they would still be no more than 1 to 2% of all mothers in the United States.[4]

One Million Moms are perhaps most notable for their failed attempt to start a mass boycott of retail chain J.C. Penney's stock price and sales volumes plummeted under a recent CEO, highlighting how the failed boycott had less

One Million Moms warns parents against ‘Wicked’: Witchcraft, pushes LGBT agenda

By Anugrah Kumar, Christian Post Contributor

Conservative group One Million Moms is warning parents about the film adaptation of the musical “Wicked,” saying it promotes witchcraft and pushes an LGBT agenda. The group states that Universal Pictures is using the musical to influence children’s perceptions of sexuality and morality.

The movie “contains a tremendous amount of witchcraft and sorcery,” One Million Moms says on its website. Such content, it adds, will likely prompt many parents to avoid bringing their children, but the group’s first objection involves what it calls “not-so-discrete crossdressing and men crushing on men.”

The movie represents “an try by Universal to normalize same-sex crushes,” the organization stressed, suggesting that the studio has “decided to be politically correct instead of providing family-friendly programming.”
